Borage is a plant that is widespread in the Middle East and the Mediterranean and is a beauty resource that is rarely thought of. However, its oil, extracted from the seeds of the plant, is very rich in polyunsaturated fatty acids, especially linoleic and gamma-linolenic acid. This composition makes it an excellent nourishing agent for the skin, but also for nails and hair.
Borage oil is the ideal natural partner for mature skin thanks to its richness in gamma-linolenic acid, a fatty acid that plays a stimulating role, promoting skin cell renewal. It is therefore perfect for protecting the skin and delaying skin ageing. It is not uncommon to find it among the ingredients of certain anti-ageing products.
